We will be running two university vans between RDU (the Raleigh-Durham airport) and Hillsborough Street (North Hall/the Brownstone Hotel).
Most conference participants are arriving on Monday, May 16. On Monday we will run both vans continuously between the airport and hotels. There are 2 baggage claims at terminal A and 1 baggage claim at terminal C. The vans will stop by each baggage claim. We will have the vans clearly marked and someone holding a "NCSU Lie Algebra Conference" sign. After arriving at RDU please pick up your baggage at the baggage claim and then proceed to the curb side in front of baggage claim and wait for the next van to arrive.
The first van should arrive at RDU around 1:00pm. The round trip from the airport to the hotels takes about 1 hour, so we will try to have a van stopping by the airport every 30 minutes. Please note that around 5pm (rush hour) traffic gets backed up on I-40 so you may have to wait a little longer. The last van will arrive at RDU sometime around 9:30pm. In you need to contact us for some reason (for example in case of flight delay) regarding airport pick-up we will provide a telephone number (via email) to contact Bill Cook (one of the van drivers).
If you are not arriving between 1:00pm and 9:30pm, on May 16, Monday please send us your flight information (to Bill Cook) and we can make a special run out to the airport for you. We have already scheduled the following extra runs to RDU to pick up some of the participants who have already given us their flight schedule.
